Kootenai County Commissioner Todd Tondee
Board of County Commissioners
Commissioner Todd Tondee
I'd like to take a moment to give you a brief bio about myself and let you know I look forward to the honor of serving you.
I am one of 9 children. Growing up with 5 brothers and 3 sisters taught me negotiation skills at an early age. I graduated with
honors from Milby High School in Houston, TX. While in Houston I earned an Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering. When I
left Houston, I was the technology supervisor. My team and I oversaw the maintenance of over 10,000 PC's for a Fortune 100 company.
In 1993 my wife DeDe and I decided to buy a business and move our children (Brad & Alyssa) and their baby sitter, DeDe's mom,
to this beautiful area. We have successfully run and continue to operate a small business in Post Falls and I can't imagine living anywhere else. DeDe
and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary this past August (2010) - I thank her for each day she gives me.
I have the privilege to serve on numerous boards and committees, and previous to becoming a commissioner, I served three years
as a Post Falls City Councilmen. As I've watched this area grow, I decided to leverage my skills as a small businessman and public
servant to help ensure the sense of community was preserved for future generations. North Idaho is truly God's country, and I am
blessed to serve the people of Kootenai County.
