Welcome to the First District Family Court Services Website. Family Court Services
was established to assist families who find themselves involved in the court system.
Idaho State Statute, Title 32-1402 establishes the response by the legislature towards
coordinating services for families.
The Family Court Services office provides the following:
Resources, referrals, information about services and funding for mediation and supervised visitation access.
Maintains a list of mediators, supervised providers, parenting coordinators, and resources for families involved in family law matters.
Conducts the Focus on Children class.
Educates families about options available to help them resolve their court case through alternative dispute resolution methods. This is also known as the "Custody Toolbox."
*New Class Every Thursday************, Beginning 1-15-15, in Coeur d'Alene, Family Court Services will
provide Assistance with Parenting Plans for parents without attorneys. There will also be a section regarding
"Tools for Resolution" This workshop is held after the Court Assistance Family Law Workshop.
