Welcome to the First District Family Court Services Website. Family Court Services was established to assist families who find themselves involved in the court system. Idaho State Statute, Title 32-1402 establishes the response by the legislature towards coordinating services for families.

The Family Court Services office provides the following:

• Resources, referrals, information about services and funding for mediation and supervised visitation access.

• Maintains a list of mediators, supervised providers, parenting coordinators, and resources for families involved in family law matters.

• Conducts the Focus on Children class.

• Educates families about options available to help them resolve their court case through alternative dispute resolution methods. This is also known as the "Custody Toolbox."
