The Department of Parks and Waterways is responsible for the management, development
and maintenance of park and marine facilities owned by Kootenai County and our mission is clear:
"Provide recreational users of our parks and waterways safe, clean and suitable facilities, which best meet
their needs in the most cost-effective way possible."
