RV DUMP ON DALTON AVENUE STILL OPEN BUT
WATER HAS BEEN SHUT OFF FOR THE WINTER.
As of 11/2/15 Fernan Lake and Black Lake are under a health advisory due to the presence of blue-green algae. Avoid swallowing or inhaling water and avoid direct contact with water containing visible algae. Panhandle Health District and DEQ are monitoring the conditions and will advise the public when the concern no longer exists.

The Department of Parks and Waterways is responsible for the management, development
and maintenance of park and marine facilities owned by Kootenai County and our mission is clear:
"Provide recreational users of our parks and waterways safe, clean and suitable facilities, which best meet
their needs in the most cost-effective way possible."
Kootenai County is the largest boating community in the State of Idaho with nearly 20,000 registered
boaters and just over 44,000 navigable acres for boaters to enjoy.

1 RV DUMP STATION
14 PUBLIC RESTROOMS, OF WHICH 2 ARE FLOATING RESTROOM BUILDINGS
19 PATONS (NAVIGATIONAL LIGHTS AND MARKERS)
21 REGULATORY BUOYS
