NOTICE: Perimeter Road Construction (Bid 2018-02) - This is the bid for the
construction of the Perimeter Road and North Borrow area at the Landfill. The Notice Inviting Bids published in the CdA Press on 1/30/2018.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on February 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the landfill site located at 22089 S. Highway 95, Coeur
d'Alene, Idaho. The bid opening is scheduled for Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

Kootenai County provides two full service transfer stations for customer convenience. The Coeur d'Alene
station is located at
3330 N. Ramsey Road in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The Post Falls Station is
15580 W. Prairie Avenue in Post Falls, Idaho.
The Transfer Stations are open to the general public and waste hauling companies seven days
a week. The entry gate opens at 8:00 a.m. and closes to the public at 4:55 p.m. every day.
It is requested that all customers be unloaded and out of the facility by 5:00 p.m. each day.
The staffed Rural Collection Sites are open to residential customers seven days a week.
The gates open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. every day. These sites are for household
waste only. Large bulky items, tires, and wood must come to the Ramsey Transfer
Station. No commercial waste is accepted at these sites.
All Solid Waste facilities are closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
The Administration Office for the Solid Waste Department is located at the Ramsey Road facility.
The office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office is closed from 12:00
to 1:00 for lunch. The business office observes the regular federal holidays.

Kootenai County Code states that no vehicle shall be driven unless the vehicle is constructed, covered or loaded to prevent the possibility
of contents or loads from blowing, spilling or otherwise escaping. Violation is a misdemeanor subject to
Idaho Code 18-113 or its successor.
