Hauser Outreach Project Update: Public Meeting and Survey

Kootenai County and the City of Hauser will be hosting an additional public meeting on Tuesday, December 17 at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Hauser Lake Fire Station, located at 10728 N. Hauser Lake Road.

Kootenai County does not discriminate against individuals or groups on the basis of disability in the admission or access to, or treatment in, its public meetings, programs, or activities. Requests for assistance or accommodations can be arranged by contacting Kootenai County Community Development at (208) 446-1070 with 48-hour notice.

The purpose for this meeting is to present proposed changes to the Hauser Area of City Impact, including a proposed zoning map, based on comments received during and after the three public meetings held in August 2019. This meeting is meant for those who were unable to attend the most recent public meeting held on November 22, 2019 at the Hauser Lake Fire Station.

In addition, Kootenai County and the City of Hauser are requesting additional input on whether common exempt divisions of land should be allowed within the Hauser Area of City Impact (ACI).

Please fill out the new 5-question survey on the project website.

If you have any questions on accessing the survey, please call (208)446-1070 or send a message to hop@kcgov.us.

Thank you for signing up for notifications. You will be informed of upcoming community meetings regarding the Hauser Area of City Impact. Send questions you would like addressed at future meetings to hop@kcgov.us. Please see our website page here for additional information regarding the project.
