About the Board

The Airport Advisory Board was created to support the County in their efforts to provide the best airport facilities possible while engaging in continuing efforts to enhance and improve Airport facilities, processes, and projects.

The primary goals for the nine member Airport Advisory Board are as follows:

  • To recommend long range general direction and goals related to Airport facilities
  • To act as a liaison with the public on matters concerning the Airport and to report community feedback with the Airport staff and the Board of County Commissioners
  • To recommend funding priorities for Airport facilities and projects
  • To research challenges faced by the Airport and make recommendations regarding the operation and improvement of Airport facilities and services
