In light of the increased costs of state snowmobile registration fees and reduction in plowing services on Fernan Hill road, the Kootenai County Board of Commissioners has discontinued the Kootenai County Snow Groomer sticker program. However, current state snowmobile registration is still required to operate on Kootenai County snowmobile trails.
Please be advised that the Kootenai County Snow Groomer Department will continue to provide grooming services on Kootenai County Snowmobile trail systems.
