Kootenai County has implemented a Commercial Use ordinance affecting all public marine facilities owned and/or managed by Kootenai County. This ordinance applies to any commercial operator or private citizen wishing to utilize County marine facilities for purposes other than recreational boating.
The primary goals for the commission members include providing recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding Comprehensive Plan Amendments applications and documents and adoption or amendment of local ordinances.
