ATTENTION BOATERS:
Due to the unanticipated failure of the floatation system of the wood dock in Bayview, the Department will defer replacement of another dock system in order to replace the dock in Bayview in time for the 2025 summer boating season.
The replacement dock will be the same length and width; and the pilings will be installed in locations determined by the final design. Similar to other dock replacement projects completed by the Department, the steel pilings used to secure the old dock will be reused to secure the replacement dock. The replacement dock will be constructed using similar materials as the existing poly-float, steel frame, concrete decked dock.
The Department will submit an encroachment permit with the Idaho Department of Lands and coordinate with Idaho Fish and Game as part of the replacement project.
