There could be a number of reasons. We might not have your proper mailing address in our records. Click on this link and search your property to review our record of your mailing address to make sure that it is correct. While you are there on this Public Access site, review all property information that we have on file for your property for accuracy. Another reason is that possibly got lost in the mail. Unfortunately, mail does get misrouted.
In some cases, mail cannot be delivered to certain physical addresses. The Assessor’s Office is not responsible for maintaining correct mailing addresses or for lost or undeliverable mail, but to avoid this completely you can sign up to get your Assessment Notice electronically through eNotices, so you never miss your Assessment Notice. In fact, you will likely get your notice faster than by conventional mail, because eNotices eliminates the handling and transit time of physical delivery by U.S. Mail. After you sign-up, you will be notified by email, and we will still try to mail a physical copy of your Assessment Notice to the mailing address that we have on file. Please note, if you haven't received your assessment notice and do not have an authorization code, please call our office at (208)446-1500 so we can find it.
