Before bringing your propane tanks to the transfer station for disposal, check with the local propane dealers to see if they can take them. Please notify the scale house attendant that you have a propane tank to dispose of and they will direct you to the proper area for disposal. Typically the common 5 gallon propane tanks will be disposed of near the refrigerator area, adjacent to HHW.
